MightClick ("we", "our", "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome extension.

Data We Collect

To provide AI-powered browsing assistance, we collect the following data:

User Identifier (UUID)	A randomly generated ID to identify your account and manage your subscription
Selected Text	Text you highlight on web pages when using AI features (translation, writing assistance, etc.)
Page Content	Visible text from web pages when using summarization features
Page URL & Title	Context information for AI processing
Images	Image URLs and images you attach, when you use image analysis features
YouTube Captions	For video summarization features
User Notes & Lists	Personal context you create within the extension
Email Address	When you purchase a subscription (provided via payment processor)

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored in your browser:

• Your license key. The key itself stays in your browser; a signature derived from it is included with requests to our servers to authenticate your subscription.
• User preferences and settings. These are never sent to our servers.
• Notes lists and chat history. These are stored in your browser; notes lists you choose to include as personal context, and the conversation you are having in the side panel chat, are sent with your AI requests so the AI can use them.

How We Use Your Data

• AI Processing: Text, page content, and images are sent to AI services to generate responses to your requests
• Subscription Management: Your UUID and email are used to manage your license and subscription
• Usage Limits: We count how many AI requests your account makes to enforce your plan's usage allowance. The extension contains no analytics or tracking libraries.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• AI Processing Providers: To generate AI-powered responses (OpenAI)
• Stripe: For secure payment processing and subscription management
• Microsoft Azure: Cloud infrastructure (North Europe region) for data processing

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS
• API requests are authenticated using secure tokens
• Server infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure with enterprise-grade security

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. Content sent for AI processing is not stored permanently and is used only to generate immediate responses.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Uninstall the extension at any time, which removes all locally stored data
